    Artefacts - Debut: Artefacts (Sonic SU Item)
    In his search for money Robotnik discovered some ancient artefacts he believed to be from Mobopinchu, an ancient lost city. Putting them on sale he was distraught when Sonic, Sonia and Manic turned up at his auction and stole the goods. Sonic and Sonia took their item to be examined by the professors in the Mobian University, but Manic who had hidden his sold it to raise cash for the Underground. When Sonia and Manic told him the artefacts were actually worthless warheads from the last Mobian War Manic races after the man he had sold it to but was too late, he had already sold it to Bartleby. Before they could retrieve it from Bartleby, Sleet and Dingo kidnapped the art collector and took him to the excavation site to confront Robotnik. When the warhead exploded it destroyed most of Robotnik’s machines and activated several other warheads buried in the surrounding area, devastating the area completely.

    Bartleby - Debut: Wedding Bell Blues (Sonic SU Character)
    "What song? Oh wonderful. You drag me to the bowels of the city to hear imaginary music! How could it get any better?"

    Bartleby is probably the most important character in Sonic Underground who isn’t part of the main cast, unlike Sonic, Manic and Sonia he refuses to travel around fighting Robotnik but he isn’t part of Robotnik’s evil schemes either. He stands directly in the middle, a close friend of Sonia who would probably quite like to marry her purely for the status in society but until Sonia comes to the throne he hedges his bets and refuses to oppose Robotnik in public. Bartleby has a mutual hatred with Sonic and Manic, and his relationship with Sonia is testing at times, especially as in her absence he continues to flirt with every other eligible woman in Robotropolis. Although he has a decent heart and secretly hates Robotnik, Bartleby does little to help the resistance unless he can get something in return or Sonia forces his hands. If the Queen ever returned Bartleby promises that he would be the first to join her retinue, but until she does he remains squarely neutral with equal contempt for both sides but kept in place by the wealth and money he so dearly loves.

    Emporium - Debut: The Jewel Of the Crown (Sonic SU Place)
    Sonic: " I mean, we're only looking for a jewel merchant, whose name we don't know, in the biggest, noisiest, most jam-packed city in all of Mobius! I mean how many jewel merchants could there be?"

    Emporium is a vast city where Queen Aleena had hoped to trap Robotnik. Full of snake charmers, jewel merchants and other traders, the bazaar is full of interesting and unusual people of every size, shape and colour. Queen Aleena had hoped to trap Robotnik using a special jewel that would give away a fake location for herself but Sonic, Manic and Sonia blew the trap not realising that their mother was behind it all.

      

    Gamma Spectrum Visualiser - Debut: Artefacts (Sonic SU Item)
    The Gamma Spectrum Visualiser is capable of examining ancient objects and working out their exact structure and composition. Sonia’s professor used it to determine the nature of some ancient artefacts which turned out to be dangerous weapons.
