The device that was given to Tails to help locate the generator. Tails managed to adjust it make it find Sonic & Metal Sonic later on and also used it to temporarily stop Metal Sonic, before it was destroyed.

Forgetful and slow best describe the Old Man. According to him, he used to be an expert pilot during his prime, which is long gone.

The President is the one in charge and generally calls Sonic whenever there's trouble. He cares a lot about his daughter, Sara, and shows the same concern for the people that he currently leads.

The robot generator has supposedly become unstable due to the increased electricity being generated and needs to be shutdown before sunrise or it'll cause a massive explosion that'll affect the entire planet. Sonic manages to shut it down, but becomes trapped in it as his bio data is scanned and eventually put in Metal Sonic, who was inside it.

Sara is the President's daughter. She's mainly whiny and very materialistic. But, she knows how to use her charm to get what she wants.

The fastest being on the planet, Sonic is a bit serious, which shows up in his attitude, but still knows how (and likes) to relax. He's very confident in himself and makes sure he has some fun when he goes out to stop any plan by Eggman/Robotnik to take over.

The area where the President lives and is in charge.

The two-tailed fox is the technological wiz kid and rivals Eggman (or Robotnik) in the area. He can fly and he hates thunder, which spooks him. Tails, while looking up to Sonic, is very independent in his own right.
