Sonic Heroes Sound Files - Vector 12/28/03
The official Japanese Sonic Heroes site has updated with some new screenshots, boss and enemy info, 2 new character CGs, and some voice clips on their characters page.
IMO, Sonic, Tails, and Charmy sound better in English, and Omega, Amy, Cream, Big, and especially Rouge sound better in Japanese. Knuckles, Shadow, Vector, and Espio are pretty even. |

The latest in a series of tales depicting "Mobius: 25 Years Later" finds Queen Sally and Julie-Su trying to figure out a way for their husbands and kids to get along during an upcoming visit. Easier said than done!

Sonic Comic Con 2003 and it's future - Sonic Adventurer 12/22/03
The second annual Sonic Comic Convention (SCC or SVTcc as it's commonly called) will take place December 24th, 2003 - less than TWO days away!
"We promised to put on a better show, and I think that's what we're going to do!"
With the re-schedulings that delayed the convention for more than three months, SCC looks like it's finally ready to show it's pretty self off at an end-of-year holiday treat! The future of SCC after 2003 seems secure, however it will be something rather different in 2004.

European Sonic Battle/Sonic the Movie Release dates - Buzz Bomber 12/13/03
According to THQ UK, Sonic Battle will be released on the 27th February '04.
On a fairly unrelated note, it appears that Sonic the Hedgehog the Movie (the Sonic Anime) will be re-released on DVD on the 15th December '03 (According to Amazon.co.uk, Play.com et al).

Recent rumors weather SatAM have been airing in Michigan have now been clarified. I contacted FOX33 and heres what they had to say.

ELSPA, the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association, and ComputerAndVideogames.com, the UK’s leading multi-format video games website, today published the results of a unique poll seeking to find the most popular 30 games of the last 30 years.
The top five games voted most popular by the public are: Sonic the Hedgehog, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pac-Man, Tomb Raider and Space Invaders.

Sammy purchases 22.4% of SEGA shares - Onsokuni 12/10/03
It has been announced today via the Associated Press that Sammy will buy a 22.4% stake in Sega, although the reasons behind this decision have not been explained.
Recent talks between the two companies over a merger fell through earlier in the year, as did talks with Namco. Now, Sammy will be required to spend $419 million on purchasing the 22.4% share of Sega.
Financial commentators are already expecting Sammy to launch a takeover bid once their share reaches the required 33%.

| To my suprise today while at the local Best Buy they have a stack of soming attraction DVD's that come free with any Music, Game, or Movie purchase. This DVD has trailer for all types of games and music and movies. Among them is a high quality DVD trailer for Sonic Heroes showing off all the teams and some gameplay. I can make a DVD RIP later. |
