Summary
US Title: no title yet
At a large mansion, which is a retirement home Scarlet and Stuart have stopped to speak with a man. The man wants to be left alone and says nothing has happened on ARK. The man says they have no clue what they are getting themselves into and says they need to stop it.
Meanwhile Rouge has spotted the shuttle and Eggman gives the password to Rouge while Eggman heads off. Rouge looks through the data and finds interesting data and feels that the Shadow they know isn't the real Shadow. Elsewhere Shadow spots Sonic and the others and says that Sonic cannot win this battle. Back in the retirement home the man says he refuses to answer any questions and Scarlet begs the man to tell. Stuart tells her to stop pushing and they go to leave, they spot some men in black coats and Stuart attacks them. Meanwhile Scarlet has been taken and the man suddenly appears taking out the suit. He leads the too away to a safe place.
Up in space the shuttle approaches ARK as they spot the dozens of cannons lining the colony. Knuckles senses the Master Emerald and sends the colony into the line of fire from the colony. Sonic orders him to calm down as they crash into the colony. Rouge sees them on the monitor and says sarcastically who it could be. As Knuckles breaks in to find the emerald Rouge appears and the two of them do battle. Rouge slips and goes to fall down when Knuckles grabs onto her and pulls her to safety. Rouge thinks Knuckles was trying to be fresh and Knuckles says she's ungrateful as she walks off telling Knuckles he can have the emerald. Rogue decides that it is time for her to leave.
Tails meanwhile is with the others walking through the colony in the X Tornado as Tails hands the fake emerald to Sonic saying that it should mess with the eclipse cannon and take it out. Just then Eggman appears and captures Amy. Eggman says that he'll set Amy free if he gives up the emerald. Sonic says he'll have to think it over and Amy wonders what he's talking about. Eggman goes to start crushing Amy and Sonic places the emerald down but is then trapped inside a tube. Tails says he'll give Eggman the real emerald and Eggman says he'll make Sonic pay.
Sonic says Tails is in charge as Eggman launches him into space, Amy is released and she watches as the capsule descends to Earth, exploding. Chris and Shadow have also seen him and Shadow says that Sonic is dead and that he was not a great hero, Chris runs off leaving Shadow.
Tails, obviously angry towards Eggman and refuses to give Eggman the emerald. Tails goes into attack and uses the X Tornado. Down on Earth the man starts talking about the facility needed to be closed down as they headed up there they started learning about what was actually going on up there The man spotted Maria and started chasing her as she began to let something go the man pulled the trigger. Two capsules were sent down to the planet and the colony was closed down. The man breaks into tear and Scarlet thanks him.
Back on ARK Chris makes his way through the station feeling that Sonic isn't gone. As Knuckles runs through the colony he spots Sonic who has nearly passed out. Sonic gets up and shows the fake emerald was glowing. He then shows that he used chaos control to escape from the capsule. Sonic has Knuckles keep an eye on the others while he goes to put the emerald to the test.
Down in the file room Rouge is busying copying the data onto a disk saying that Eggman doesn't know the whole story. Topaz responds that Rouge also needs to get the chaos emeralds. Meanwhile Shadow has spotted Rouge and says to leave the emeralds alone. Shadow knows that she is an agent and she goes to leave the colony Shadow calls her a fake and Rouge says that it is funny coming from her.
Tails meanwhile is still busy fighting Eggman and blasts him into the wall. As Tails gets out Amy wonders if Tails is okay. However, Eggman appears and takes the final emerald disappearing. Down below Rouge explains that the body of the original creature was sealed off 50 years ago and Shadow says it was the prototype that was sealed off and he was the first created after that. Rouge says that two capsules were ejected and that neither was ever found. She then wonders how Shadow ended up on the island and gets a feeling that neither is who they say they are. Shadow gets a call and Eggman says he's got the emeralds and that someone is trying to take out the cannon. As Shadow goes to leave Rouge wonders if he knows that he's not the real Shadow, but he says that even if his memories are not his, it's all they have.
As Shadow speeds away Knuckles spots Shadow and Chris appears happy that Sonic is okay. Tanaka finds him and gives him a huge hug with the others nearby. Sonic meanwhile is heading down the treadmill as Shadow appears. Shadow sees the Sonic caused chaos control as the two race down the tracks. Sonic finally full introduces himself and the two decide to do battle.
Eggman meanwhile gets ready to install the final emerald as Sonic and Shadow continue to do battle. Sonic tries to use his strength as Shadow blasts away at the area. Tails and the others spot the damage and says they need to get the last emerald. Eggman learns the cannon has been heavily damaged, but he decides to go ahead and fire the cannon. Placing the final emerald into its holding chamber he goes to fire the cannon, but nothing happens and it shuts down. With everything black a timer suddenly appears with Gerald appearing on a tape. He says that the colony will crash into the planet to eliminate it as the timer starts counting down. |
