Summary
US Title: "Cruise Blues"
Deep in the ocean Eggman is informed that his headquarters is fully repaired. The two robots complain that they are tired of having to fix the fleet. As the main engine comes on-line it suddenly shuts down, Eggman is informed that it is malfunctioning. Eggman says that it is time to retire the ship and he says that he has a surprise from them.
Out in the middle of the ocean they take in the big yacht and head off to see some glaciers. Sonic is really upset that they are going to spend four more days in the middle of the ocean. During the night Chuck is relaxing and says that he has taken his seasick pills, then he suddenly passes out. Tails asks what there is to do when Amy tells him that he is being rude. Sonic continues to run around the ship still upset that he is trapped on the ship. Amy tells him to stop and she informs that he needs to behave and that he is being rude because they are going to be on the ship for 10 more days. She continues to tell him to grow up as the others stare at her amazed. Sonic walks off and then collapses, Amy thinks that she was too overwhelming; Chris says that he will call his father.
With a helicopter landing the next day Sonic says that it is time for him to go and shows that he was only faking it. Coming off the plane though is a bunch of old people. Sonic wonders what is going on as Tanaka appears. He informs that Chris’ father will teach them to relax. Chris says that he does not need that and that Sonic just needs to be taken home. Tanaka says that Sonic will be staying there and also be forced to relax. The helicopter takes off leaving Sonic stranded on the ship upset. Tails is forced to watch the clouds and he is straining himself not to go crazy. Cream and Cheese are busy having a drink with a lady even though she only gets the same question over and over. Sonic is busy trying to jump ship fifteen times as the crew watches on complementing him on going further each time. Amy meanwhile talks to an elderly man saying that it is obvious that she has a crush on Sonic.
Meanwhile below the water Eggman reveals his brand new base and grins at his accomplishment. They start fighting over the names of the three components. As Eggman breaks out a book he tries to come up with different names for the ships. Back on the ship Sonic starts trying to hatch an escape plan. He goes up to Tails and says that the X Tornado may be very lonely making Tails feel extremely guilty about leaving the X Tornado. He then goes up to Amy and flirts with her and with bad acting he gets her to start swinging her hammer. He then goes to Chuck and Chris saying that Amy has gone crazy. Chris says that maybe they should turn the boat around and Chuck says that something is going on. Just then Amy and Cream come into the room talking about what happened as Sonic tries sneaking off.
Back at the mansion Bokkun appears in the house only to find that the entire house is dark and empty. He wonders where everyone is when he starts crying Ella appears with groceries. She tells him that no one is there and for everyone to scram, he comes up and grabs her crying. He says he is so lonesome and only wants someone to play with, as Ella goes to comfort him he apologizes and gives her an exploding present. He flies off laughing.
At the ship the boat is slowly approaching the glaciers as they ask if Amy is still mad at Sonic. She has pinned him the crow’s-nest and when he refuses to come down she starts hammering it trying to get him to fall. Tails, Chuck, and Chris spot a whale and when they seem to think there is another one, Eggman appears with his new base. Sonic says that it has been a long time as Amy sits on him grinning. The boat comes to a stop when they approach the glacier saying they were stay there as long as they like. Sonic jumps the ship and lands on a piece of ice. Challenging Eggman he combines the three pieces into the Egg Fort II. Getting a phone call his two robots saying that it is a bad name.
As Sonic tries to run he finds that he has no traction on the ice as Eggman starts shooting at him. An old lady comes on the intercom and tells Sonic to relax and for Sonic to feel the ice with his feet. Getting some traction and when Eggman goes to attack him, Bokkun suddenly appears wanting to be let in. The X Tornado appears with an extremely mad Ella flying the plane she changes the mode and kicks the new ship into the sky. With Eggman gone they decide to finally get some relaxation and when Sonic is asked to go home he decides to stay there to take it easy. The episode ends with the ship continuing on its journey. |
