Summary
US Title: "Techno-Teacher"
Things start out with Sonic looking out into the air, jumping down off of a house he speeds off towards the sun before coming back a few seconds later and coming to the house. Amy greets him and Sonic comes inside. In the dinning room, Chris is busy eating his meal when Mr. Tanaka comes in to tell him that Chris’ parents are coming home to see him. Chris gets a little worried as he remembers about Sonic and the others, he quickly runs off. Inside of Chuck’s lab, Sonic and the others are busy eating their own breakfast. Chris informs them to be careful as he gets ready to go to school. After Chris leaves, Chuck informs Tails and Amy about Chris’ parents and their jobs. Sonic meanwhile is on top of the roof looking upwards into the sky once more.
Out in the ocean at Eggman’s base, Eggman is trying to think of a plan to take over the planet. He believes to think about warping the minds of the kids so that they get their parents to worship him. Using his famous slot machine he selects a robot to be sent out, this one is dressed in a graduation outfit and lands at the school. Inside Chris’ classroom, the kids are in a daze at some complex math problems while Chris’ teacher sleeps. Eggman’s robot bursts in and removes Mr. Stuart from the classroom. He gets upset and barges into the principal’s office. As they go to remove the robot, the principal sees just how good the kids are doing and decides to keep him. Stuart gets upset and plots another way to get rid of the robot, going to HQ to deal with it. Inside the men’s bathroom he contacts them only to find out that they cut him off and just laugh at him.
With that not working he heads down to the police, who manage to work their way down there, obviously late. Stuart wants the cop to hurry, who is busy eating his burger. As they get ready to go into the classroom, he finds it empty. However, outside the class is getting ready to play a game of baseball. Stuart and the cop find it, but the cop decides that the robot is doing no harm and decides to leave. Stuart gets upset and grabs the burger; the cop gets mad and runs after Stuart.
Eggman meanwhile is rather upset at his robot not doing its proper job and watches as the robot hits a home run in baseball. Meanwhile at Chris’ house, his parents arrive via helicopter and are greeted by Chuck. He explains that everything is going great and the parents are eager to meet Chris. Amy and Tails meanwhile are watching from the roof at this.
Back at the baseball field, the kids are continuing to play ball when Bokkun arrives in the outfield with a message. Eggman is extremely upset at Inteligente not doing his job; Inteligente decides to go against his programming and only wants the kids to admire him. The children grin and support their new robot teacher. Bokkun gets angry then starts crying at his incomplete mission. Eggman sees this and is obviously tweaked. As the ending bell rings, everyone is getting ready to go as Eggman suddenly appears and tells everyone that they cannot leave and Eggman reprograms Inteligente. Chris gets ready to leave but is captured in "detention".
At the house, Chris’ parents are getting extremely worried at how late Chris is. They then begin to realize that they should act more like normal parents and not over react. Tails and Amy are watching and ask Sonic to go off and look for Chris, but Sonic is already gone.
At the school the kids are ordered to draw Dr. Eggman, each of them look a little disgusted at having to do this, when Sonic suddenly runs by and blows are the books out of their hands. Eggman hasn’t noticed Sonic until Inteligente tells him that Sonic is there. Eggman orders him to attack Sonic and launches missiles at him. Sonic obviously dodges even the homing missiles and lands a direct head butt on Inteligente destroying him. Eggman gives Sonic a button, but Sonic refuses it and Eggman tries to give it to someone, but everyone refuses it. Jumping into his hovercraft he flies off leaving the kids confused. Sonic tells Chris to hurry home and follows off after him.
As Chris runs home, Stuart has a revelation about his teaching abilities and turns around to see the cop who is extremely upset at his burger being eaten. Chris appears home and his parents rush to greet him. At night his parents try to act cool about it, but both are called out about their over reaction. Amy and Tails are still watching and are happy to see that Chris is enjoying himself. The episode ends with Sonic staring into the night sky. |
