Summary
US Title: "Chaos Emerald Chaos"
Chris starts out by learning about the Chaos Control that brought Sonic and
the others there, he still doesn’t understand about the chaos emeralds. Tails
and the others begin to fill Chris in on what the chaos emeralds are, Chuck
seems to think that the emeralds are gone. Sonic corrects him and talks about
they may still be here on the planet. Chris thinks that if they can get them
all, they’ll be able to all be sent home.
At a construction zone, a crane is digging up dirt to be placed in a truck;
something shiny remains in the dirt. Meanwhile on a plane a president is informed
on the location on Sonic and the others, even Eggman. He orders their capture,
but an advisor says it be best to just keep observations on them at the moment
and that a group is already observing on Eggman. On his island a lone diver
signals for a ship to come in. Meanwhile the president asks about the animals,
the advisor states that an operative has infiltrated to keep a watch at them.
While at school Chris and the other class is introduced to Mr. Stuart a new
teacher that is replacing their original teacher who has taken a leave of absence.
As the class ends for lunch, Chris calls for Danny to hurry up. Mr. Stuart comes
up to Chris and asks him about his parents. He says that he is very privileged
to meet them and offers a handshake. He then asks if Chris has a favorite animal,
Chris responds saying that it’s hedgehogs. Just then Danny appears and the two
run off.
At the construction site, the crane hits the chaos jewels and begins to drive
out of control. The driver dives out after the crane tips over a dump truck
and goes over a pile of logs, only o get stuck on a pile of dirt.
At Chris’ house Cream and Cheese are watching the newscast on the wild crane.
They see a rendering and instantly run outside to tell Sonic what is going on.
Sonic, asleep in a tree sees Cream. Eggman also sees the gem and begins to make
plans to head out and capture the jewel for himself after selecting a robot,
Becon, to go after it with him.
In Chuck’s garage Tails and Amy are getting ready to head out in the Tornado
to follow Sonic, who has already gone ahead and is in town running around looking
for the jewel. Thinking to get a higher view he jumps onto a telephone pole
and waits for Tails and Amy.
Eggman too is also making his move towards the city, but he finds missiles are
being launched towards him. With a few quick moves, Eggman dodges the missiles
and continues on his way towards the city.
Back in class, Mr. Stuart is doing some math problems when Chris looks out the
window and sees Tails and Amy at that moment Chris leaves the class suddenly.
Mr. Stuart follows telling the class to study on their own. Rollerbladding Chris
is trying his best to follow the plane in the sky. Mr. Stuart is right behind
him in his car trying to keep up with Chris.
Sonic finally sees the Tornado and after being told where to go, he quickly
makes his way to the construction site. Before Sonic can make it there first,
Eggman appears in the sky and the people begin running away madly. Seeing Sonic
coming, Eggman sends the robot after Sonic, which quickly attacks Sonic as he
performs a jump. Sonic is knocked away and is in obvious pain as the robot bats
him around the sky. Unable to gain any footing Sonic is knocked around. Tails
appears and Amy throws the ring to Sonic, he misses it by mere inches and begins
to fall downward.
Tails moves in closer to Sonic to help him while Eggman lands at the construction
site. He spots the emerald, but before he can grab it, Chris snatches it and
Eggman quickly takes it back. Getting into his hovercraft Chris tries his best
to recover the jewel, even grabbing onto the hovercraft as Eggman lifts off
into the air.
In the sky however, Sonic is still being batted around as the Tornado appears
and Amy hands Sonic another ring. Using the power boost, Sonic smashes right
through the robot causing it to explode. Landing he spots Chris trying to hold
on and calling for help. Eggman grinning at his success fails to notice Chris
until he climbs up onto the wing. Trying to shack Chris off, he holds on tight
and grabs onto Eggman’s mustache. Eggman fights him trying to pull him off;
Chris falls but has the emerald in his hands.
On the ground Mr. Stuart spots Chris and converts his car trying to race there
to save him from his free fall. Sonic is there first and with a jump up, he
grabs Chris and puts him back on the ground. Mr. Stuart converts the car back
to normal and heads back to school.
Back at Chris’ house they celebrate the collection of one of the chaos emeralds.
Chuck suggest that they shouldn’t keep it here because of interference, Tails
says he’ll fix anything that goes wrong and calls Chuck grandpa. Chris walks
over and apologizes to Sonic for losing the emerald, but Sonic says all that
matters is that he got it back and that he did a great job. Chuck asks that
he be more careful next time and celebrations continue with everyone staring
at the glowing Chaos emerald. |
