    General Info
    Intro

    After 2 "adventures" in 3D land and one side-game (Sonic Shuffle), Sonic the Hedgehog and friends return to their 2D origins for another go at Eggman and his newest scheme. This game marks the first time a Sonic game has ever seen release on a Nintendo (handheld) console...and it surely won't be the last.

    Story

    Dr. Eggman's up to his old tricks again! He's out to steal the Master Emerald to power his newest weapon. But Sonic and co. have discovered his treachery, and are hot on his heels. Join Sonic the Hedgehog, Mile "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose as they challenge Eggman in this all-new adventure. Re-discover old haunts and new dangers to find Eggman and stop his evil. Find the Chaos Emeralds and defeat the mad doctor before it's too late!

    Play As Sonic And Tails
    To play as Sonic w/ Tails following from behind like in Sonic 2 & 3, input these commands at the character select screen in Story Mode: Press "UP" once when on Sonic, press "DOWN" once on Tails, press "L" once on Knuckles, press "R" once on Amy, and finally press "A" once on Sonic to select him. If you hear a "ring chime" sound effect, the code was inputted correctly.
